Harun and I met and fell in love in New York City in 2016. After enjoying what the city had to offer, we decided to move back to the West Coast to be closer to friends, enjoy nature, and be able to buy a home of our own. We were incredibly fortunate to find a beautiful old Craftsman style house in McMinnville, Oregon that had an old garage, which we converted into a ceramic studio in 2023.
Harun Eggleton is a Potter from McMinnville, OR. Growing up as the grandson of a ceramics artist, he has enjoyed a connection to clay all his life. He returned to pottery several years ago and recently established a home studio. Having spent his childhood in New Zealand and Hawaii, his work is greatly influenced by the natural world. He focuses on simple utilitarian designs which use form and texture to evoke a sense of comfort.
Harun sells his work through Sustainable Rituals in Oregon and online. Follow @workiftbirds on Instagram for updates on pottery drops and new merchandise. For behind-the-scenes pottery creation, follow @haruneggleton.
