About Work is for the Birds

I am a visual artist who has a background in photography and illustration. Although I have been creative for as long as I can remember, I chose to work in higher education and corporate America for the last two decades. In February of 2023 I made the decision to focus on my creative endeavors and started Work is for the Birds Creative LLC. 

I love animals, architecture, comedy, music, and reading - all of which heavily influence my work. I enjoy putting animals in unexpected situations as a way to reflect on the similarities and differences between humans and animals. I love when my work makes people laugh and evokes a sense of nostalgia for a time or place.
